no morphology 

I have a simulation parameter set I use for adjusting the NN without
adding or
removing legs. basically I create the structure, add in where I think
muscles and
neurons should be.. I set the morphology to 0 and all the morph settings
to 0. however
I still get legs added and I have to manually remove those genotypes
during the
evolution. This is especially troublesome when I am running the
simulation on my sgi
and I never see the process..just the end result.. Is there a way to
absolutely stop
framsticks from adding legs?

It's enough when you set 'morphology mutation intensity'
to 0 (that's how you disable all morphology mutations!)

Hi Sac,

You must set "Crossed over" to 0 in the Creation section of Simulator
Parameters. I use Unchanged = 20, Mutated = 80 and, as I said, Crossed over
= 0.

These settings will keep your morphology unchanged.

Also to keep your muscles as unchanged as possible set "Add/change/remove a
muscle" to 0 in the Neuron net section of Genetics / f1.

Sure.

- you have to disable mutations of morphology (in "Genetics: f1")
- you have to disable crossover (in "Creation" category)

Both should be set to zero.
Nothing else is needed.
