muscles 

i know i am posting a lot... but i have a lot of questions...

i have tried some different fitness criteria now... one with velocity as the
only factor, which turned out some worms that twitched randomly. i turned
the lifespan up, but only got some small ugly plants, with lots of A. then i
turned up the size of the creatures, and i got these hugh spider things,
with a mess of neurons, T's and D's. however not a single @ or |... why? i
cant make it evovle muscles... even though i have turned velocity up now.

the creatures i have now are quite bizzare and flat:

But you will not learn everything in a few minutes...

Read (or at least browse) the documentation before
posting questions, you will at least know what is in the docs.

You can start with the 'speed.sim' settings, and just wait an
hour with the simulation running and no windows open (press F9).
Then you can try to change these settings and see how they
influence the outcome.

If you observe the situation when there is yet no selective
pressure (ie. all genotypes have fitness around zero, or there
are just a few better), then your conclusions are based on random
situations and rare cases.

Let them improve and then you will be able to evaluate your
settings based on framsticks behaviors.
